Hello and welcome Tiger families! CMIT ES PTO is beginning its 9th year of providing funding support and FUN support for students and staff. For the 2023-2024 school year, we will continue our mission to improve technology and communication for students and educators at the school! We have several goals for our fundraising efforts including: 

• purchasing two additional smart boards

• supplying IXL curriculum to all students K-5

• arming the school with hygiene and PPE supplies

• enhancing our Maker Space

• supporting teachers' Donors Choose requests

• sponsoring special event assemblies and community-building activities

Please review some of our highlights and accomplishments from last year thanks to our members, donors, and volunteers. All parents, guardians, and caregivers are encouraged to become members of the PTO - your input is valuable and needed! 

Tiger families, if you would like to volunteer at CMIT ES, you are required to become an approved volunteer. This process requires fingerprinting and a background check. We are bringing a county-approved vendor to the school on April 27 from 9a-12p to make getting fingerprinted easier! No need to go to the county building during business hours to complete this important step!

The cost is $65 and space is limited! WE HAVE JUST A HANDFUL OF APPT SLOTS LEFT, so if you missed securing a spot, please email us directly and we will be in touch if there is a cancelation.

Be sure to follow Step 1 to obtain a Volunteer ID number before your appointment, and then follow Steps 3 and 4 as well. Once all 4 steps are completed, you are approved to volunteer this school year! We have several exciting volunteer opportunities still to come including field trips, Muffins for Moms & Matriarchs, Field Day,  Dojo Parties, and more!

Save the date for Muffins for Mom & Matriarchs on Thursday, May 23!

At this event, we invite our Tiger Moms and Matriarchs into the school where they will spend some time in their scholars’ classroom and enjoy a meal with them.
